I’m Brian Hannah (he/they), a licensed clinical social worker offering individual psychotherapy for adults navigating grief, trauma, identity, and life transitions. My path into this work began in hospice and palliative care, where I spent years supporting people and families through illness, loss, and profound uncertainty. That experience continues to shape how I practice today: with presence, honesty, and deep respect for the emotional and relational complexity of being human. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, with a strong emphasis on somatic work and helping clients reconnect with their bodies as sources of information, safety, and resilience. I specialize in working with complex trauma, grief, non-monogamous and queer relationships, and psychedelic preparation and integration. I work with many clients who feel deeply, think deeply, and are often carrying more than they let on. Therapy with me is collaborative and relational. I aim to create a space where clients feel seen without being rushed, fixed, or pathologized. Together, we work toward greater self-understanding, nervous system regulation, and a more compassionate relationship with the parts of you shaped by pain, love, and survival. My hope is to support clients not just in coping, but in building lives that feel more aligned, embodied, and meaningful.
