I became a clinical social worker because I believe people should not have to navigate life's most difficult seasons alone. For more than 12 years, I have worked with Veterans and their families, providing individual, family, and group counseling with an emphasis on trauma, post-traumatic stress, military sexual trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, relationship concerns, and life transitions. My own military service as a U.S. Army Airborne Infantryman also shaped my desire to serve others and my understanding of the challenges Veterans and their families can face. My counseling approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and tailored to the individual. I draw from evidence-based therapeutic approaches while also offering Christ-centered counseling for clients who desire faith to be incorporated into treatment. Scripture, biblical principles, and prayer can be integrated in a way that respects each person's needs, beliefs, and goals. I founded Thrive Point Ministries from a desire to bring together professional counseling, genuine compassion, and Christian faith in a place where people can work through what is hurting them while moving toward meaningful change. Whether you are struggling with something from your past, facing challenges in the present, or simply know that something needs to change, we will work together toward Faith • Healing • Growth.
