My name is Brian Thatcher, and I have been with Renew Counseling & Psychotherapy since January 2026. I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University and have completed over 500 hours of supervision under Katty Rozok (LCSW). My counseling journey started in 2020, serving men, women, and teens as a addiction counselor and case manager in faithed based residential and community health outpatient settings. I believe that Healing thrives in relationships built on safety and support. I am committed to providing compassionate, professional counseling that helps individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges while fostering emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. My approach integrates evidence-based therapeutic practices with a holistic understanding of each person's unique story, values, faith, and identity. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with depression, processing trauma or grief, facing relationship difficulties, or navigating a significant life transition, you do not have to face it alone. I strive to create a welcoming and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, gain insight, and develop practical tools for healing, growth, and resilience. I enjoy working with adults, teens, couples, senior citizens, and families seeking care that nurtures both heart and soul. Services include individual therapy, couples counseling, anxiety and depression support, trauma and grief counseling, play therapy, life transition and stress management counseling, spiritual guidance and faith integration. I honor each client's beliefs and values and recognize the important role that faith can play in the healing process. Whether you desire faith to be a central part of therapy or simply acknowledged as an aspect of your identity, I will meet you where you are with respect and understanding. My goal is to help clients heal the mind, renew the spirit, strengthen relationships, and move forward with greater confidence, hope, and purpose. Together, we can create a path toward lasting healing and meaningful change.
