I grew up in Philadelphia and moved to Denver in my early twenties. Today, I am a husband, father, dog owner, and longtime Colorado resident. Outside of work, I enjoy camping, hiking, playing music, gardening, board games, and time in the mountains. My path into this field was shaped by my own recovery, which brought me back to family, community, service, and purpose. Professionally, I have spent the last decade in addiction treatment and behavioral health, with experience in recovery coaching, community building, program development, business development, and in executive leadership where I continue to function in addition to my individual therapy practice. With South Platte Counseling, I work with adults who are exploring recovery, maintaining recovery, rebuilding after addiction, or trying to understand the patterns that keep pulling them away from the life they want. My social work background looks at the whole person and the system around them. When appropriate and with proper consent, I may involve family members or other supports. I do not provide formal intervention services, but I can help support systems understand what may need to change so recovery can happen holistically throughout the family system. I also work with clients who come to therapy because life is technically working, but something deeper feels off. Work may feel stressful, a role may no longer fit, or the next step may feel unclear. I support adults facing career stress, role changes, leadership pressure, and questions around purpose, faith, values, and meaning. You do not need clear answers to begin or even the right questions, general willingness and openness will suffice. Therapy can be a place to slow down, ask better questions, explore your interiority and move into a life that feels more aligned.
