Introduction

I’m a licensed psychotherapist, with over ten years of experience in the mental health field, providing online therapy to adults residing in the states of California and Ohio. As a Biracial/Multiethnic therapist, I’m passionate about providing mental health support to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and Persons of Color) professionals and creatives* who are struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, unresolved emotional pain and trauma from the past, and discouragements that have negatively impacted their confidence, sense of self-identity, motivation, and pursuit of dreams and passions that they deeply desire to achieve - often leaving them feeling hopeless about the future. I’m also especially passionate about providing supportive and affirmative mental health care to persons suffering from Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). Providing care to persons that have intersectional identities (including bi or multi-cultural, racial, spirituality, and LGBTQIA+ identities)*, as a multiracial woman myself who knows what it’s like to feel that cultural disconnect with service providers in various healthcare settings and how it can negatively impact care, is something I care deeply about — with this being said, I joyfully welcome all adults (regardless of identities) to my therapy practice, especially if the mentioned mental health struggles resonate with you! In my telehealth sessions, I offer a space to hear the story of what brought you to a place of out-of-control despair, process your painful experiences using evidenced-based therapeutic methods, and guide you to seeing how it’s possible to live a value-centered, self-accepting, and hopeful life despite the pains of the past, present and future. My website has way more in-depth information on my practice and the services I offer, and how I strongly believe I can help you – as well as to connect with me so we can get to know each other through by scheduling a free 15-minutes phone consultation, to see if I may be a good fit for your needs: https://www.brianagonzalezlcsw.com/ I look forward to helping you on your journey!
