I believe everyone should have access to the care that they need. They deserve a safe and supportive space where they can feel heard, understood, and accepted for who they are. My goal is to not only create a warm and supportive environment, but also one where clients can truly be themselves, free from fear of judgment or bias. I want to work collaboratively with clients to understand how they navigate life’s challenges, as well as the emotions and needs that come with them. I am currently a graduate student seeking licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor at Angelo State University, where I am part of the Professional Counseling Master’s Program. I have earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Oklahoma. Throughout my graduate program, I have developed a strong interest in working with children, teens, and young adults who have experienced or are experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, emotional dysregulation, and eating-related concerns. As I continue to develop my counseling skills, I hope to meet each client where they are with openness, compassion, patience, and a willingness to understand their story and experiences. I have always believed that seeking support or help is a meaningful step many people may fear taking, and I feel honored to walk alongside my clients as we work together through difficult experiences.
