Hi! I'm Brianna Rendin, LPC. I am glad you are here! I approach the therapeutic process with my clients from a place of curiosity and compassion. I start the counseling experience with unconditional positive regard. My job is to learn about you and hear more about who you are and how you are looking to grow before I offer suggestions or invite in activities. I work with individuals who are navigating concerns related to Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Post Partum Anxiety and Depression, Parenting, trauma, and other life stressors. For parents, I can help by providing more information on child development and brainstorm ideas that feel authentic to you and your family. I also provide play therapy services, and I have found this to be really helpful for kids ages 3 through 12 years old. Play therapy has been proven to help improve the social emotional functioning of children overall. I am currently accepting clients for daytime hours between 9 am - 4 pm M-F. I see clients in person on Fridays. I received my master's in education and human development and post-master's in counseling at the George Washington University. I am currently a member of the Association for Play Therapy in the state of VA and under the supervision of Tanya Hull, LPC, RPT-S for my play therapy certification. I am licensed to practice in the state of VA. License #: 0701014771 I have also partnered with Mentaya, a service that streamlines getting reimbursed for your therapy sessions through out-of-network benefits. Mentaya is perfect if you: • Have out-of-network benefits • Feel overwhelmed by superbills and insurance • Have submitted superbills but failed to get any reimbursement • Simply want to skip the hassle of paperwork! Here's how it works: 1. Sign up for Mentaya: https://mentaya.co/inviteclient/IfLcInyGwOlLP6j6hdSK 2. Our practice will enter your sessions into the platform. 3. Mentaya charges a 5% fee per claim, which includes handling any paperwork required, dealing with denials, and calling insurance companies. It's risk-free: They guarantee claims are successfully submitted, or a full refund of their fees.
