I believe much of therapy is a journey of coming home to one’s truest self, by both uncovering what has been and cultivating something new. My intention is to ultimately support clients in creating a more connected and deepened relationship with themselves and their lives. Together, we will sit in the space of exploration creating more awareness of the past and present, empowering you with choice for the journey ahead. I approach healing primarily through the following therapeutic models: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) (working with our thoughts ad values), Somatic/body-based therapy (our bodies hold our stories) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy (recognizing we all have different “parts” within us that can be understood and integrated). In incorporating these perspectives, as well as considering the critical role of the nervous system in mental health and trauma, I seek to create a holistic experience for clients. As your therapist, I am also your teammate; walking right alongside you as we navigate twists and turns. I look forward to connecting and am deeply honored to accompany you in your story of healing. I received a Master's degree in Counseling at Regis University and graduated from Metropolitan State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Mental Health Counseling. I am trained in EMDR therapy and often include this evidence-based modality into work with clients.
