Introduction

I’m Brit-Tanie, MS, NCC, LPC — A Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in women’s health, with a focus on perinatal and postpartum experiences, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I am an African American woman and mother of five who has faced life’s toughest challenges and through resilience, determination, and faith, I transformed that pain into purpose. Balancing the demands of motherhood with my passion for learning, I carved out space for myself in a world that often told me I couldn’t and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling. I am also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania, with over five years of experience. I know what it feels like to feel unseen, unheard, and to fight for a seat at tables where there was never supposed to be room. Now, I use my journey and expertise to help women and individuals create space for themselves, reclaim their power, honor their worth, and turn their pain into purpose
