Introduction

Taking the step to reach out to a counselor can be hard for so many reasons. I am here to help make the process as safe and comfortable as possible. I have been in the field for almost 10 years. I have worked across settings from inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient therapy. I have a passion for working with individuals that have tried therapy previously but have not found the right fit. I work in unique ways with my clients to help them to see the progress that they are looking for in their lives. Most clients that find success working with me are a part of one of the following groups. Under the age of 30, have experienced trauma, identify as a part of the queer community, identify as neurodivergent or are a part of another minority group. Working with a counselor can be scary but I aim to make the process safe and effective as well as enjoyable along the way. I look forward to learning about and from you throughout our journey together. Working with me starts with a thorough intake appointment. The more I can understand about where you have been and where you are, the faster and more effective our work together will be. Following the initial session, you will find yourself in a space that aims to provide safety, growth and healing. My goal is to make working on the hard stuff feel manageable and for you to make the progress that you are looking for.
