Introduction

Hey, I'm Britt! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 8 years of clinical experience working with a variety of populations. Some of my work history includes individual counseling, group counseling, home-based family counseling, school-based behavioral health, community counseling, counseling children and LGBTQ+ counseling, and behavioral therapy. I have extensive history working with individuals with past and/or present trauma and grief. I also have an elongated history of working with those struggling with eating disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, and body dysmorphia. I use a variety of skills and techniques when working with clients. Typically, I take a person-centered approach and then tailor techniques based on individual needs. I use a lot of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) concepts and techniques, as well as traditional Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I believe that one of the biggest keys to a successful counseling experience is the therapeutic relationship. I strive to maintain good relations and rapport with each of my clients; we are all humans on this journey together! Currently, I am offering individual therapy sessions. Clients can use insurance (listed below) or opt for self-pay (sliding scale, listed below). I work with people of all ages starting at the age of 3. Feel free to reach out and see if we would be a good fit!
