Introduction

I work with clients who may be struggling with anxiety, postpartum depression, grief, and navigating life's changes related to relationships, parenthood, work, or past trauma, from a holistic lens. I am passionate about somatic therapy which emphasizes the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit and aims to release negative experiences stored in the body. As a black female millennial, clients come seek me out for my cultural understanding and relatedness as well as direct and compassionate approach to challenging you through growth. I believe in collaboration, so I don't "fix" you; I work with you. Your story matters, and I honor it with cultural compassion and real talk (minus the therapy jargon). Whether it's through CBT, DBT, EFT, tapping, or thought field therapy, I'll tailor our approach to you through a trauma informed lens and provide techniques and skills to master life outside of therapy. My private practice does not accept insurance but can provide a superbill to your insurance company to be reimbursed for payment.
