I never thought I would become a therapist...But after enough struggles of my own, I now understand how important it is to have support when the mountains seem too large to move on your own. The mountains I’ve tackled have taught me to become a safe place for listening, talking, understanding, support, and kindness – all at the heart of therapeutic trust. I understand the daily traumas many of us face, particularly during the perinatal period and any trauma endured. It's important to have the right support during your prenatal and postpartum journey. In addition to being a licensed therapist, I am also certified in Perinatal Mental Health and am trained in EMDR. I have extensive experience in perinatal mental health, prenatal and postpartum depression/anxiety/OCD/psychosis, birth trauma, self-esteem, family dynamics, life stress, DFCS involvement, adoption, teenagers, and relationship and family issues. I work with individuals and families to help them lean into their strengths, recognize they aren't alone, and filter the negative voices dragging them down. I'm here to walk the journey with you, both good and bad. My ears are open for listening and my heart is available for understanding. For parents, I welcome babies in session!
