Introduction

I believe meaningful therapy begins with taking the time to truly understand the person sitting across from me—not simply the symptoms, diagnoses, or difficulties that brought them into the room. As a clinical psychologist, I strive to create a space where you can feel safe enough to be curious about yourself, including the parts of your story that may feel painful, confusing, contradictory, or difficult to put into words. My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. Rather than assuming there is one “right” way to heal, I work to understand your experiences within the context of your relationships, history, strengths, values, and the ways you have learned to navigate the world. I also believe that some of our most persistent patterns once developed for understandable reasons. Therapy can offer an opportunity to approach those patterns with curiosity rather than judgment—to understand what they have helped you survive, avoid, protect, or communicate, while exploring whether they still serve you today. My role is not to tell you who you should become. Instead, I hope to help you understand yourself more deeply, develop greater compassion for the person you already are, and create meaningful changes that allow you to feel more connected—to yourself, to others, and to the life you want to build. Above all, I want therapy to feel like a place where you do not have to arrive with everything figured out. We can begin with wherever you are.
