Introduction

Hello, I'm Brittany McLaren, and I'm here to support you and your family as you navigate your mental health journey. My career in social work began with a Masters of Social Work degree from Boston University School of Social Work, specializing in geriatrics, which laid the foundation for my commitment to helping others. I also hold an Advanced Practice Certification in Palliative Care Social Work from California State University Shiley Haynes Institute for Palliative Care, allowing me to specialize in assisting families during some of life's most challenging times. Over the past decade, I've dedicated my career to working as a clinical social worker, providing tailored support to individuals and families facing serious illnesses, end-of-life decisions, and the profound experiences of grief and bereavement. This work is not just a profession for me; it's a calling. I am passionate about walking alongside my clients during these pivotal moments, offering empathy and expertise to help them feel supported and less alone. In my practice, I focus on creating a compassionate and understanding environment where clients can openly express their feelings and concerns. My aim is to ensure that every patient and family I work with knows they are not alone and have access to the resources and support they need. Being a part of your journey is an honor, and I am committed to providing the guidance and care that can make a difference during these difficult times. Together, we can navigate these challenges with understanding and strength.
