My clients would describe my approach in therapy as warm, genuine, and relational. I am goal-directed and efficient in session with a focus on equipping my clients with tools and strategies to target their symptoms. I pursued doctoral training in clinical psychology within a medical school and therefore have developed unique expertise in the intersection of emotional, behavioral, and physical concerns. I believe in treating the whole person through making lasting healthy lifestyle changes. I completed my clinical training at the Center for Cognitive Therapy at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania – established by Aaron T. Beck, the founder of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Additionally, I have pursued extensive training in treating OCD and anxiety disorders through the use of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) modalities. I strive to create a welcoming environment for my clients to feel heard and understood. This helps tailor my approach to meet my clients’ unique needs.
