I'm Brittany Rine, Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Before opening my private practice, I worked in the non-profit world. There I had the honor and privilege of meeting primarily with women and children dealing with various types of trauma. Since having transitioned into private practice, I meet primarily with individuals seeking help with building their self-esteem, learning skills to deal with their anxiety and depression, and those looking for support in their relationships (romantic and other). I utilize a few different approaches to therapy depending on my client's goals and preferences. Some of these approaches might include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment based therapy, Internal Family Systems, and LifeSpan Integration. Additionally, I am very relational in my approach to therapy. My reason for this approach is because based on my own research, clients who have great rapport established with their therapist tend to have more success in therapy. One example of how I am relational in my approach to therapy would be, a client comes into session and raves to me about a book or movie they recently experienced, I then might go and read the book or watch the movie mentioned to have a better understanding of how you view the world, what's important to you, and ultimately use it as a talking point in therapy. I truly believe that all of my clients are capable of true healing and change. It is my goal to achieve this together.
