I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Throughout both my undergraduate and graduate education, I gained experience working in a variety of clinical settings and with diverse populations. During graduate school, I completed an internship at an outpatient clinic, providing individual counseling to individuals with substance use disorders and co-facilitating early recovery groups. After earning my master’s degree, I joined the clinic as a therapist and continued working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and co-occurring diagnoses. My graduate training emphasized psychodynamic theory, and I have additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT-informed). Over the course of my career, I have had the privilege of working with clients across a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and life experiences. I am based in Michigan and provide virtual therapy sessions, allowing clients to access support from the comfort and privacy of their own homes. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients in their personal growth and healing journeys. I look forward to working with you and hope you find our time together meaningful, supportive, and beneficial.
