Building a genuine connection is an important part of my work with clients, whether I’m working with a young adult, teen, or child. I create a space where you can relax, be yourself, and talk openly about what’s going on in your life. My sessions are warm and down-to-earth, and I incorporate each client’s personality, interests, and strengths into our work together. With younger clients, that may include play and creativity, while with teens and young adults, we may focus more on navigating relationships, stress, identity, school or career pressures, life transitions, and the challenges that come with being more independent. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, to develop practical ways to manage things that feel difficult or overwhelming. My work draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Interventions, Play-Based interventions, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Trauma-Informed Care.
