Introduction

WELCOME! It’s courageous to reach out for help. A motto that I hold deeply is that we all need hope and we all need second chances. I look forward to getting to work with you! My name is Brittni and I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Braves games and catching fireflies are some of my favorite growing up memories. South Florida was my home for 15 years and now I call The Woodlands, Texas home. I enjoy spending time with my husband and son as well as reading, exploring nature, working out, and cooking. I’m passionate about my clients catching the vision that there is hope and healing for their lives. It’s a truth that can seem like a long way off at the start of therapy; however, with some courage, willingness, and determination it’s a reality that I see happen time and time again. One of my very first career opportunities, out of graduate school, allowed me to work with male and female parolees transitioning into the community from being incarcerated. It was during this time that my passion for second chances was ignited; I saw first-hand the power of belief and encouragement to instill hope and see lives transformed. I enjoy helping clients see their own worth, value, and potential; as well as, championing their strengths and helping them overcome destructive habits, past wounds, fears, and unresolved core issues. After fifteen years in the field of mental wellness, re-entry, and substance abuse treatment, I understand the power held in each client finding their voice, sharing their voice, and living life authentically. Through my own journey of EMDR therapy, understanding what it means to grow up ACOA, and working a program through Celebrate Recovery, I've found the hope, healing, and peace that I'm blessed to help my clients find as well. I can truly and confidently say HOPE and HEALING are possible! Here are some of the areas I specialize in and that we can target as a part of the EMDR therapy process: - Self-esteem - Negative Core Beliefs - Perfectionism - Workaholism - Relationship Issues - Depression & Anxiety - Work/sport performance - Codependency/Relationship Issues - Adult Children of Alcoholics/Addicts/Abusers Check out my full website for my info on EMDR Therapy & Intensives: www.inspiredhope.life I look forward to hearing from you!
