Introduction

I am an EMDR trained therapist and ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider who is licensed in the state of Texas. I have gained clinical experience in a variety of settings: a camp, a university, a nonprofit, and a community center. Now I own my own private practice called Emerald Path Counseling PLLC. I currently offer virtual appointments to Texas residents and work with individuals . The populations I am a good fit for are teens and adults who are dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, life changes, relationship issues, and/or ADHD. As someone who was diagnosed with ADHD later in life, I especially love helping fellow neurodivergent individuals examine and reconstruct beliefs they may have developed about themselves. I believe people are shaped by many factors including genetics, family, culture, and environment. No one person is the same, just as no one person’s experience of therapy is the same. I believe each client should have their therapist attune to them as a unique individual to best support them. I collaborate with clients to create an action plan that suits their desired outcomes and support them in achieving their goals. In sessions, I hold space for clients to explore and gain insight into themselves as a whole person.
