Introduction

In an increasingly complex world, navigating life's challenges can often feel overwhelming. As a clinical therapist, my mission is to empower clients by developing effective coping strategies, cultivating resilience, and identifying inherent personal strengths. My therapeutic approach centers on deconstructing complex life stressors into manageable steps, fostering a safe, non-judgmental environment rooted in unconditional positive regard to support self-discovery. I integrate evidence-based practices tailored to each individual's needs, utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy (FST). By incorporating family systems into treatment, I collaborate with clients and their support networks to develop comprehensive, sustainable solutions. My clinical experience spans a broad spectrum of challenges, including Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Mood and Developmental Disorders, Substance Use, Domestic Violence, and Trauma. My professional trajectory reflects a deep commitment to education and human services. I earned an Associate Degree in Pre-Psychology from Northwestern Michigan College (2009), a Bachelor of Social Work from Ferris State University (2011), and a Master of Social Work in Clinical Practice (2013). My extensive background encompasses work across Community Mental Health, Foster Care, Youth Homelessness Services, and Private Practice. Outside of clinical practice, I reside in Traverse City, Michigan, where I enjoy outdoor activities, global travel, and engaging with diverse cultures. If you are seeking support to navigate life’s stressors, I welcome the opportunity to partner with you on a journey toward healing, empowerment, and long-term well-being.
