I have worked in the mental health field for nearly 25 years and I have a passion for helping people create healthier lives and relationships. I integrate the healing aspects of therapy with the activating aspects of coaching into my work with an emphasis on getting unstuck. In recent years, I have been finding ways to include faith practices and a Christian perspective into my work for my believing clients. My style is non-judgmental, compassionate and direct, with a dose of humor. Many of my clients present with anxiety, depression, relationship issues and unresolved trauma history. I use talk therapy, psych-education and skill building to help them learn how to cope and communicate more effectively. I integrate the wisdom of Neuroscience, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness practices to induce healing and growth. My clients learn to develop greater self compassion and confidence, as well as the ability to be more presence in their lives and relationships.
