I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Ashley Buckmore, LPC-S. I graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have experience helping adults, children and their families with Anxiety and Stress, Autism Spectrum Disorder, effects of Divorce, Life Transitions, Trauma and Self-Esteem. I strive to create a safe and supportive space for people to express themselves and believe that people of all ages are worthy of being authentically known. When we are fully seen, known, and accepted for who we are, we can truly begin to grow and extend that acceptance towards ourselves and others. My therapy approach stems from a Person-Centered and Cognitive-Behavioral lens, and combines elements of solution-focused, sand tray, and play therapy. These techniques are thoughtfully selected to communicate with the child in their natural language (play) while teaching new ways of behaving and thinking. I enjoy collaborating with teens and adults in therapy to provide encouragement and therapeutic structure tailored uniquely to each person's circumstances and needs. I am a member of Christian Counselors of Texas, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and the Texas Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
