During my graduate studies, I focused on working with children, adolescents, and families, developing expertise in play therapy and filial therapy. I have experience navigating complex family dynamics and use various therapeutic models to support emotional well-being and strengthen relationships. Since joining Andrews & Associates, I have specialized in trauma-focused therapy, particularly working with individuals who have experienced sexual trauma. As a trauma-informed therapist, I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their healing journey. My approach is rooted in a systemic perspective, recognizing the deep connections between individual experiences, relationships, and environments. I am committed to helping clients break generational cycles of trauma, build healthier patterns, and create meaningful change in their lives. Beyond my clinical work, I am a member of the Riley County Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), collaborating with professionals across systems to provide education and advocacy from a mental health perspective. I am passionate about increasing awareness of trauma’s impact and helping communities build pathways toward healing and growth.
