Introduction

Tianna is a dedicated therapist who works with children, adolescents, and adults to help them overcome life’s challenges and build emotional resilience. She has extensive experience supporting individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, low self-esteem, and parenting issues. Tianna enjoys helping children and adolescents develop essential life skills, manage stress, and learn healthy coping strategies. She also supports younger children in regulating their emotions and developing strong emotional foundations. In addition to her clinical work, Tianna serves as a parent coordinator, helping families navigate disputes related to divorce or legal custody cases. She advocates for the best interests of the child by mediating between parents or guardians and guiding them toward resolution outside the courtroom. Originally from Merrillville, Indiana, Tianna graduated from Merrillville High School and earned her Master’s in Social Work from Indiana University–Purdue University. Her career began in higher education at an inner-city college in downtown Chicago, where she discovered a passion for serving vulnerable populations and promoting awareness of children’s mental health and safety. Upon moving to Indianapolis, she joined the Department of Child Services as a Family Case Manager and later a Supervisor, building trust-based relationships with children, youth, and families. During this time, she worked closely with youth experiencing severe mental health challenges, including bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, and ODD. These experiences strengthened her passion for developing creative and compassionate ways to help children and teens navigate life’s difficulties. With over eight years of experience in social work, Tianna has developed a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to therapy. She believes that nurturing mental health at every stage of life equips individuals with the tools they need to face challenges with confidence and resilience. She incorporates evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and family therapy in her work. Outside of her professional life, Tianna enjoys spending time with her three children and her puppy, Gigi. As an active team mom, she can often be found cheering at gymnastics, football, and basketball practices and games. In her downtime, she loves watching classic television shows like The Andy Griffith Show, Bonanza, and Little House on the Prairie.
