Introduction

Hi, I’m Bryan. I became a Mental Health Counselor because I have seen the amazing things individuals are capable of when they have the necessary support that allows them to find the courage and strength to be their authentic selves and overcome many of life’s challenges, and I strive to be a part of that process. I find it inspiring to hear the unique and complex inner workings of other’s experiences. I feel honored to have the opportunity to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and comfortable environment for others to be vulnerable and feel supported in both positive and challenging times. My career in the field of mental health has allowed me to take many different roles in providing quality care for others and has given me great perspectives in the ways that I have been able to support and be present for others on their mental health journey. I have experience in working with all ages who have faced challenges with depression, anxiety, behavioral concerns, emotional regulation, social skills, identity, life transitions, as well as the unique needs and challenges faced by the LGBTQIA+ and other minority communities. The foundation of my approach in therapy is grounded in trust, openness, warmth, and acceptance. I work to provide a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach with clients to enhance their natural strengths while collaborating with clients to meet them where they are, walk beside them in their healing, and provide a safe environment that allows for change to take place and aids in making sense of the many challenges life presents us with. I love being a therapist because I love watching others become the best version of themselves and providing new tools to assist in this journey. I believe everyone is truly the best expert on themselves, and I am endlessly inspired by the resilience and growth I get to witness in my work with others. I feel greatly honored to be a part of that process. If you are ready to start your journey or discuss what this could look like, I would be thrilled to take this next step with you and begin working together. I use he/him/his and they/them/their pronouns.
