Introduction

I grew up on a cattle ranch in West Texas as one of 5 siblings. Being part of a large family shaped the way I understand relationships- how they form, how they strain, and how they repair. I went on to earn my bachelor's at Texas A&M University and Master’s in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. Before and throughout my training, I worked with families and individuals in both camp and nonprofit settings, which confirmed what I already sensed: I’m drawn to work that meets people in the middle of real life, not just when things look put together. Today, I provide attachment-based, experiential therapy for teens and adults. Many of the clients I work with are thoughtful and high functioning. They understand their patterns intellectually, but still feel stuck repeating them, especially in relationships. I’m less interested in quick strategies and more interested in helping you understand what’s happening underneath the surface in your nervous system, attachment patterns, and in the ways you’ve learned to protect yourself. Therapy with me is collaborative and direct. I value honesty and emotional clarity. I’ll help you slow down enough to notice what’s actually happening internally, especially in moments of conflict, shutdown, or self-criticism, and we’ll work from there. If you’re looking for therapy that goes beyond coping strategies and into lasting relational change, I’d be honored to connect.
