Introduction
Hi, I’m C. Denny King, a doctorally prepared, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and the founder of Kindred Family Care. I specialize in providing Biblically informed, clinically excellent psychiatric care for children and adolescents with anxiety, ADHD, OCD, autism, and more. I was drawn to this work out of a deep desire to serve families facing mental health challenges with skill, clarity, and compassion. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of partnering with parents and young people to help them find meaningful relief and greater peace. At Kindred Family Care, I take time to understand each client’s unique story—emotionally, developmentally, spiritually, and psychiatrically—and work with families to create treatment plans that reflect their values and goals. Whether that includes exploring medication, navigating difficult behaviors, or just finding a safe space to talk, my goal is always the same: to offer care that is thoughtful, grounded, and respectful of each person’s dignity and worth. If your child is struggling, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’d be honored to walk with your family.
