While I have experience with a wide range of disorders with patients of all ages and backgrounds, I have found that I work best with clients are people who need a balance of warm and direct. I tend to work best with kids, teens, and adults who often feel like they just can’t stop their patterns or find a way to the better version of themselves. My clients have often struggled with feelings of lack of belongingness or feeling different, and the various ways that impacts their life. This can show up as anxiety, mood dysregulation, behaviors that don’t seem to fit in societally, or even just not understanding social cues or societal I have training in several approaches, such as psychodynamic, person centered, CBT, DBT, REBT, narrative therapy, humanistic, existential, family systems, feminist theory, positive psychology, trauma-informed approaches, and play therapy, and often utilize an eclectic approach that we define together. Treatment should be based around your wants and needs. Finding a therapist, someone you don't know but need to be honest and open with, can be difficult because they feel like a complete stranger at first. My goal is not just to make you feel comfortable, but seen, heard, and understood. I want us to work on growth and your goals together.
