Introduction

Welcome. I’m Caitlin Alford, LCSW, and the founder of Restore Couples Therapy. For more than 14 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and couples through some of life’s most challenging seasons. Over the years, I found myself especially drawn to couples work and the opportunity to help partners reconnect, communicate more effectively, rebuild trust, and create relationships that feel stronger and more secure. My practice focuses on couples therapy, affair recovery and betrayal healing, premarital counseling, and individual therapy for adults. I have advanced training in the Gottman Method, (Level 3 training), as well as specialized training in affair recovery and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I am also a Prepare/Enrich Certified Facilitator, allowing me to incorporate this research-based assessment into premarital counseling to help couples identify strengths and areas for growth as they prepare for marriage. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel understood, respected, and supported—not judged. Whether you're feeling disconnected from your partner, working through the aftermath of betrayal, preparing for marriage, or navigating challenges in your own life, my goal is to help you gain clarity, develop healthier patterns, and move toward meaningful change. At Restore Couples Therapy, I believe relationships can heal, grow, and become stronger—even after difficult seasons. I offer in-person appointments in Haddon Township and virtually.
