Introduction

My own experience with therapy changed my life! It helped me unlearn the negative beliefs internalized from childhood and discover a more empowered sense of self. The skills and patterns we develop to survive aren’t necessarily the same skills we need to thrive. As a trauma survivor, I understand how deeply survival skills can become ingrained, and how challenging it can be to let them go, even after the danger has passed. These experiences have deepened my compassion for this work and strengthens my belief that healing is possible for all. I’m passionate about helping people navigate body image concerns and disordered eating. I have experience supporting clients with trauma histories, eating disorders, and neurodivergence. I believe you are the expert on your own life. I see therapy as a collaborative process where I partner with you, offering clinical knowledge, support, and curiosity while honoring your experiences, strengths, and autonomy. I am committed to providing trauma-informed care in an affirming and supportive space where children and adults can feel seen and empowered to grow, heal, and reconnect with their authentic selves. Treatment is always individualized and shaped around your goals and what matters most to you. My therapeutic approach is rooted in Health At Every Size®, body neutrality, and intuitive eating. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. I also incorporate play with children and art with clients of all ages as creative and healing outlets.
