I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of North Carolina (License #A17350). I received my Masters from Gardner-Webb University in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Prior to graduate school, I graduated from Gardner-Webb with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Youth Discipleship. Through my graduate coursework, I completed my practicum and internship experiences with children in play therapy, college students in the college counseling center, and adults through psychotherapy. I believe that it is necessary for the counseling relationship to be empathetic, safe, and non-judgmental. Taking a cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused approach, I aim to provide a safe and supportive space to collaborate and work at the clients own pace to reach goals. I hope to empower my clients through heightening self-confidence and utilizing strengths as well as enhancing one’s accountability for behaviors. Through the counseling relationship, we can facilitate change. In my free time, I enjoy playing with my Sheltie, going to the beach, playing tennis, leading my Scentsy teammates, and spending time with family and friends. I look forward to walking alongside you on this journey.
