Introduction

I am a licensed psychologist and certified EMDR, trauma, and perinatal expert serving CA, CT, CO, FL, NY, NJ, RI. I help people who, on the outside, look like they have it all together. You work hard, care deeply, and show up for others, but inside it feels different. You feel anxious, disconnected, exhausted, and stuck. I can help you break free from the self-criticism, over-functioning, people-pleasing, and never feeling good enough that often develop from a difficult past. Together, we'll work through the impact of childhood emotional neglect and abuse, unhealthy relationships, and unresolved trauma so you can begin to trust yourself, discover who you are beyond the ways you've learned to survive, and create a life guided by choice rather than your past. I specialize in complex trauma and attachment wounds, anxiety, depression, perinatal issues, and grief. As a certified perinatal mental health professional, I have a special place in my work for new and expecting parents, especially those carrying their own trauma histories into parenthood, when the arrival of a baby stirs up more than anyone told them about. I am also certified in EMDR through EMDRIA, and I integrate evidence-based approaches like EMDR, psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, and ACT to help you process painful experiences, understand yourself more deeply, and create meaningful change. My approach is warm, collaborative, and straightforward. We'll explore the things that keep you stuck and find ways of relating to yourself and your life that feel more aligned to what matters most to you. Whether you are seeking deeper healing, hoping to break generational cycles, or just trying to feel better, therapy can help. Let's talk.
