My approach to therapy is collaborative and compassionate, grounded in the belief that healing happens not just through insight, but through reconnecting mind and body. I bring a strong interest in somatic, body-based therapeutic approaches to my work, recognizing that our bodies hold experiences that talk alone doesn't always reach. I work with clients navigating anxiety, life transitions, perfectionism, inner critics, trauma, relationships and attachment, depression, OCD, and grief. As a Level 1 trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner, I use parts work to help clients build curiosity and compassion toward the different aspects of their inner world—the part striving for perfection, the part carrying worry, the part holding grief or old wounds. I also draw on polyvagal theory, with a particular focus on nervous system regulation, helping clients recognize patterns of activation and shutdown and build a greater felt sense of safety. With more than 500 hours of yoga teacher training, including a focus on Yin yoga, I often integrate breath, movement, and somatic awareness into sessions, offering additional pathways toward healing alongside traditional talk therapy. My hope is to create a space where all parts of you are welcome, where we can honor your resilience and cultivate skills to help you move forward with greater ease, balance, and self-trust. If this approach resonates with you, I'd love to hear about your life and your hopes for therapy.
