Introduction

My name is Cameron Paxton (he/him), and I am a limited licensed psychologist. I practice under the supervision of a Licensed Psychologist, as required by Michigan law. I completed my master’s degree in counseling psychology in 2022 from Western Michigan University. While trained as a generalist, I have specialized experience treating chronic pain and trauma. In therapy, my goal is to help you better understand yourself and develop practical, sustainable ways to move toward the life you want. I work with individuals and couples using an integrative approach grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, multiculturalism, and existential therapy. Together, we can explore the connections between your thoughts, emotions, body, and values while identifying meaningful steps toward your goals. Therapy is a collaborative process, and you don't need to have everything figured out before you begin. We’ll begin where you are and work together toward where you want to be.
