As a therapist, I am shaped by my Christian worldview and believe understanding our attachments and emotional landscapes is the key to healing. My practice is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy, where we explore the intricate dance of relationships—with ourselves and with others. I believe each person is unique, created by God, highly valued, and can overcome hardships, pain, and despair. I explore how thoughts, beliefs, and emotions impact personal well-being and the health of relationships. To understand where we are going, we need to know how we arrived at this crossroads. Change begins through the therapeutic relationship built on trust, acceptance, honesty, and emotional connection. I work with couples, premarital couples, families, and individuals age 12 and up who are experiencing relationship distress, betrayal trauma, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life adjustments, and more. My goal is to come alongside my clients in their journey to hope and healing.
