I’m Caresse, an LSW at Rise Counseling Group, where I am dedicated to providing holistic and client-centered care. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Social Work degree from Wright State University. My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that true well-being includes each person’s physical, emotional, mental, and social aspects. My passion lies in supporting and empowering individuals within our community, particularly Black women, women of color, and teen girls. I am committed to honoring and respecting the unique experiences of every client, working collaboratively to build resilience, develop healthy coping strategies, and achieve personal goals. At Rise Counseling Group, I aim to create a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their life experiences in a positive, non-judgmental space. I aim to promote a therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and mutual understanding. To me, therapy is a collaborative journey where transparency, vulnerability, and compassion guide the way to effective and meaningful work. I understand that reaching out for support can be difficult, but it is the first step toward personal growth and healing. I am here to walk alongside my clients on this powerful path, offering the guidance and support needed to empower them on their journey. I am under the supervision of De’Asia L. Thompson, LISW-S/LCSW. I look forward to working with you.
