I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CHMC) student at Lenoir-Rhyne University completing a practical internship experience at The Brain Spot, PLLC under the supervision of my university supervisors and Kenneth Doyle, LCHMC, NCC. I have passed the required North Carolina competency examination already, and I am on track to take the licensure exam early in October 2025. I will graduate in August 2026 with a Master of Arts degree in counseling. Clients who choose to receive services from me while I am a student receive the benefit of a $0 copay, which means that they will not pay out of pocket for therapy when using insurance. Additionally, you will have two supervisors reviewing your case to ensure you are receiving the best care possible, and that you have a team of professionals supporting you if you have questions along the way. After advocating for working professionals for roughly 17 years in military, corporate, small business, and non-profit spaces as a Human Resources Manager then as a Global HR Business Partner. I am passionate about working with Veterans, clients in the LGBTQIA+ community, folks with diverse abilities, and helping with issues resulting from trauma.
