Introduction

I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CHMC) intern from Lenoir-Rhyne University working at The Brain Spot, PLLC under the supervision of Kenneth Doyle, LCHMC, NCC and my university supervisors. I passed both state exams required for licensure in the state of North Carolina, and I will graduate in August 2026 with a Master of Arts degree in CHMC. There are benefits to therapy with a CMHC intern. Services are low-cost and affordable. My standard fee is significantly lower than other clinicians' fees while I am completing graduation requirements, and I offer a sliding scale to meet people's individual financial situations. Additionally, you will have two licensed supervisors overseeing your progress, ensuring you are receiving the best care possible. You have a team of professionals supporting you if you have questions along your healing journey. After advocating for working professionals for 17 years in military, corporate, small business, and non-profit spaces in human resources, I am passionate about working with Veterans, clients in the LGBTQIA+ community, folks with diverse abilities, couples, and families overcome issues resulting from trauma.
