I believe everyone can benefit from therapy in some way, and that healing looks different for each person. I take the time to understand where you are in your journey, where you want to be, and what you need to get there. As an EMDR-trained therapist, I help clients explore how past experiences may continue to influence their emotions, relationships, behaviors, and sense of self. My career began working with youth who had experienced sex trafficking, which sparked my passion for understanding trauma and supporting people through difficult experiences. Over the years, I have developed specialties in trauma, addiction, grief, domestic violence, and parenting. While these areas may seem different, they are often deeply connected. You have to keep in mind that healing is rarely about fixing just one thing; instead, we may be working through a complex collection of experiences and patterns that influence one another. Therapy helps but creating a much deserved space where you can be honest, feel heard, and feel supported without judgment. Therapy can be uncomfortable, and there may be days when you love the process and days when you don't. Both are part of the journey. We all heal in our own time and I am here to support and challenge you along the way. "Healing doesn't mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls our lives."
