There is a certain kind of pain in our world that can come from feeling unseen, misunderstood, or dismissed. These traumas can morph into sadness, grief, loneliness, or relationships that have pulled you away from yourself. My intention is to give an affirming, protected space supporting full acceptance of you and your world. Wounds and all. I value real empathetic validation, cultural inclusivity, slowing down, and shedding the pressures to be "enough" in a demanding climate day to day. We will collaborate to find clarity in your goals or inner experience while gently reconnecting with your inherent worth and natural-born value. As I complete my clinical training at Birchwood Wellness Group, I will shortly earn my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University. Using a psychodynamic, trauma-informed approach, I will help you ease distress and provide symptom relief. Together, we’ll explore root causes and protective mechanisms that are now longing to be cared for. There is no normal, abnormal, right, wrong, good, or bad. Therapy is about self-expression, unconditional acceptance, forming a healthy therapeutic relationship, and softening into your true self for lasting healing. I will walk beside you, at your pace, as you come home to yourself.
