I specialize in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and the lasting effects of difficult or painful life experiences. I work primarily with adults, including survivors of childhood trauma, abuse, sexual assault, and complicated relationships. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and straightforward. I don’t believe therapy needs to feel cold or clinical. I want my clients to feel comfortable being themselves, and I believe humor, authenticity, and genuine human connection have an important place in healing. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and also incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and other trauma-informed approaches. Together, we can explore not only your symptoms, but where they came from and what your mind and body may still be trying to protect you from. I have a particular passion for helping people struggling with shame, self-blame, feelings of not being “good enough,” difficulty setting boundaries, or putting everyone else's needs ahead of their own. I believe healing does not mean erasing what happened to you. It means reaching a place where your past no longer gets to dictate how you feel about yourself or how you live your life today. If you are looking for a therapist who will listen without judgment, challenge you when appropriate, celebrate your progress, and walk alongside you as you heal, I would be honored to be part of that process.
