Introduction

I'm Carolyn Lentz, MA, LAC, working in a supervised private practice specializing in helping adults navigate major life transitions, including divorce, the empty nest, and other periods of change. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), providing clients with practical tools to manage anxiety, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and create meaningful, lasting change. I started this practice because I have seen how transformative therapy can be when it's thoughtful, individualized, and collaborative. Every client brings a unique story, and I'm committed to providing a space where you feel seen, supported, and understood, while also gaining actionable strategies to move forward with clarity and confidence. My work focuses on helping clients: * Understand and shift patterns that no longer serve them *Navigate challenging life transitions with resilience * Build emotional clarity, balance, and confidence * Strengthen the relationship they have with themselves I believe therapy is not just about coping -it's about growth, insight, and reclaiming a sense of agency in your life. Together, we work toward outcomes that are tangible, meaningful, and tailored to your individual goals. This is a supervised private practice. It is owned and/or managed by a master’s level, non-independent licensee under Board-approved clinical supervision pursuant to A.A.C. R4-6-211. The Board-approved clinical supervisor of this practice is:Name: Shelly Thome, LPC, CCTP, CCTSI, CTMH, CCFPPhone Number: 602-649-4040Email: shelly@getfocuscounseling.com
