At the foundation of my therapy practice, I strive to provide a welcoming space for neurodivergent individuals to grow in their self-awareness and self-acceptance. Through understanding and compassion, clients can grow in their identities and relationships with others and develop clarity around how to move through life stages. There is not one right path nor rarely a direct one, but the process of finding one’s way is to be appreciated. My presence is calm, patient, and genuine in developing trusting relationships with clients. With empathy and validation, clients find opportunities to be self-reflective and gain insight into their own thoughts and feelings and of those around them. Clients gain confidence in being able to manage their challenges whether it’s with feeling unmotivated, overwhelmed, lonely, or anxious. Furthermore, through a neurodivergent lens and relational framework, clients experience a nurturing therapy space which aims to accommodate their support needs and collaboratively explore approaches to work towards goals.
