Introduction

Carry Durham earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Ashford University where she majored in psychology, after serving 10 years in the U.S. Air Force. Soon after leaving the military, she then earned her Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling from South University. Mrs. Durham is a Licensed Professional Counselor who conducts individual counseling for adults and teens. She has experience in various levels of care such as individual outpatient, intensive inpatient, residential care, and therapeutic day treatment programs. She provides counseling for various life challenges including, but not limited to mood disorders (such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar), Attention Deficit Disorder/ADHD, anger management, communication, stress/life management. Mrs. Durham utilizes a variety of techniques created to meet the needs of each individual. These techniques are derived from a psychodynamic approach to therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, and Trauma Informed Care.
