Carsen Shytle is committed to fostering a welcoming and collaborative environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their stories, knowing they have a counselor who genuinely listens and deeply cares. Her counseling approach is rooted in authentic connection, compassion, and the belief that every person deserves to feel heard, encouraged, and valued. Carsen is currently pursuing her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Troy University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Counseling from Auburn University. Carsen believes meaningful counseling can empower clients to discover hope, recognize their strengths, and develop practical tools to navigate life's challenges with resilience and purpose. For clients who desire a Christ-centered approach, Carsen welcomes the integration of faith and prayer into the counseling process. Carsen looks forward to working with women, children, adolescents, adults, older adults, individuals, and couples. Her experience includes serving older adults in assisted living settings and working with children in church, preschool, and educational environments. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, and marriage and relationship concerns. Carsen is a member of the American Counseling Association and has had the privilege of leading multiple faith-based women's groups.
