Introduction

I’m Casey. I'm a white, queer, gender-expansive native West Coaster with a background in writing and theater, which has given me a deep interest in the human experience and the ways we endeavor to become our best selves. I was drawn to therapy in order to support people in discovering and using their strengths to reach that goal. I enjoy working with people of all backgrounds and identities but especially strive to provide an affirming space for LGBTQ+ folks to gain renewed self-compassion and authenticity by better understanding themselves and how past traumas and negative messaging might be impacting one's sense of self and possibility. Our work together might look at challenges related to sexuality, gender identity and expression, grief and loss, life transitions, coming out, or self-esteem, with the goal of improving relationships—to yourself, to others, and to the narrative of your own life. You can expect a collaborative atmosphere where trust, safety, and curiosity prevail. I offer sliding-scale sessions for those in need.
