My number one goal as a therapist is to show up with you as you are, and understand you there before moving in any one direction. Building a rapport established in trust, common understanding, and compassion is key to helping you feel welcomed and safe in the space we share together. I am always captivated by the uniqueness we hold as humans, and therefore, I love working with people from all walks of life. It is important to note that I embrace gender affirming and body positive ideals, particularly as it relates to the LGBTQIA+ and Eating Disorder communities. I’ve had extensive experience within the holistic health field and that has carried over to my work as a counselor where I look at someone as a whole person, not just a list of symptoms. You and your story as a whole picture will be accounted for here. Life is hard and I want you to know you have the choice to not be alone amidst the complexities. I myself have had my own mental health struggles, particularly suffering from years of an eating disorder that I was lucky enough to receive adequate treatment for. This work isn't just a job to me, it is my passion to help others through the darkness of their struggles. I sit in front of you as person first, then counselor.
