Hello! Thank you for taking the time to allow me to introduce myself as you navigate your own personal journey. My name is Cassandra,o;kj and I have been working individually with clients in therapy since August of 2022. Before this, I worked with individuals in child welfare and domestic violence. I have a deep passion for providing non-stigmatizing and non-judgmental care as people navigate their lives. I am a current PhD student in Counselor Education and Supervision, with research focuses around weight stigma/bias, eating disorders (EDs), trauma, and the LGBTQ+ community. This mirrors my clinical interests and specialties. I am passionate about creating a space where individuals feel free to show up as their authentic self, feeling valued, understood, and able to unmask. I am a Health at Every Size (HAES) clinician and work with ages 12 and up. Though my specialization is with EDs and trauma, I often see clients who are processing grief, ADHD related executive functioning. I have and will continue to work with many other presenting concerns, such as career, anxiety, etc. I approach sessions with a desire to understand you holistically. To me, focusing on your unique experiences within your systems, from your person to your macrosystems, and how they change over time, is crucial. I hope we can work together in your journey.
