I believe that everything we do has a ripple effect of some sort. No matter how big or how small, something will be manipulated. Given the essential tools, I believe you can retrain your brain to get back to healthy thinking patterns and positive thought processes in areas that have been overshadowed by darkness. During my undergraduate career I was diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety, but through education on my own diagnoses and addressing and speaking more openly about my mental health with providers and friends and family, I was able to address unhealthy thinking patterns head on. With a background rooted in social work and a passion for helping others, my goal is to help people better understand their mental health and do my best to provide some sort of relief whether it's a listening ear, a different perspective, or a new trick to try out. In my spare time, I love to travel. I also enjoy live music and going to shows and concerts. If it involves sightseeing, sour candy, great music, and greater company- I'm there. Send me a message or email if you would like to chat more on how I can help you.
